Google have recently added Coventry’s indoor market to Google Map street view and it is very good. You can navigate around the market and see what’s for sale and every store there.
You can find Brewer Bill on the street view, check it out here. You can see Bill and what he generally has in stock.
Popped into Coventry City Centre last weekend and made it to the market to see Brewer Bill in Coventry Market. Been there a few times now and its great to pick up brewing bits and bobs including a decent range of beer and wine kits. Its a bit easier to call in on Brewer Bill than travel out to Solihull to see Brew Genie and saves money on postage and packaging if ordering online.
To find Brew Bill it is best to enter Coventry market from the Sports Direct entrance and go into to the market through the doors on the left. Brew Bill is down the first aisle in-front of you.
I’m not sure Brewer Bill has any particular opening times, the best I could find was Coventry Market Opening times
Monday to Wednesday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Thursday: 8.00am to 2.30pm
Friday and Saturday: 8.00am to 5.30pm
Its pretty safe to say Brewer Bill is open on Saturdays, I can’t say for sure on other days.
Living near Coventry I’ve been struggling for a local home brew shop, Wilkos is ok for bits but the quality of kits they stock aren’t the best or the most exciting! I had been travelling over to BrewGenie in Hall Green but wondering in Coventry’s historic market I stumbled upon Brewer Bill’s stall. Bill stocks a good variety of kits and equipment including Brewferm and Coopers, but doesn’t have much stuff on display and is a tad more expensive than other home brew shops, but I’m happy to find a local home brew shop on my doorstep.
